From December 16, 2006 to January 14, 2007, Botany Photo of the Day is going to be featuring photo abstracts posted with little or no scientific commentary. If abstracts aren't to your taste, please consider revisiting the site in mid-January. – Daniel

This would be stunning shot with an 8x10 - view camera and then blown up to 8 feet tall! Great stuff.

I bought a large format presentation tome of Monet's Water Lilies. The victim my wife just took one look at it and returned it without comment I think this is for you. It has superb closeups and panoramic foldouts on both wide wings so you need a broad room to peruse the paintings. But these were what was expected a progress from blurry impressionism to smudgy abstraction. Not botanical apercu of nénuphars.
This extra wide album serves well to support this laptop bridging the gap between the driftwood chesstable and the sofa's arm.
